Interview

  • What do you do for fun?
One of my favorite things to do is to grab my camera bag and hit the streets with no plan and no purpose but to explore whatever city I’m in. I’ve seen some amazing sights and had great opportunities because of this and it will never change.
  • What’s your lifestyle? What makes you who you are?
I tend to live at a pace of 100 mph or my gear is in Park. I love to travel, but I can get stuck in my apartment for days. I never like to be predictable, but there’s something to be said for a routine. Like anyone, my experiences in life whether good, bad, indifferent, wins, failures, or losses are what make me who I am today. I wouldn’t trade those experiences for anything. Ok, I’d trade a couple bad choices away for some cash...
  • Name 5 things that you can’t live without.
    1. Honey Roasted Peanut Butter...it's a serious problem.
    2. My Camera
    3. Thunderstorms
    4. Apple Products (Fine...call me a fanboy if you want, but they all just work)
    5. Silicone Lube
  • If you have to pick one thing that everyone else should absolutely know about you, what would it be?
I use humor to cover insecurities and nervousness. So if I make a joke that you don't find funny maybe because of cultural differences or language barriers, please don't take it personally. I wouldn't want you to think that I am attacking you. Well...not as long as we still have clothes on!
  • What are your greatest personal traits?
Personality wise, I'd say my loyalty, discretion, and my ability to listen are my greatest traits. I've got your back as long as you've got mine. I'm a great listener who can actually disconnect himself from devices, especially when I'm on your time. Too often people only listen to what you say to respond. They are too busy formulating something to say back to you before you've even finished that they aren't actually hearing what you're saying to them. I listen to actually hear you. I'll take in what you say and formulate my response after you tell me everything. I often find myself being called a therapist by my friends who come to me with their problems... I don't know how much I like that lol!
  • What are your hobbies? What do you like to do in your spare time?
Most of my free time is dedicated to creating art in any form I can. My primary medium is photography. I was trained on film and developed an eye at a young age. Recently I have been exploring other mediums like acrylic paints, digital, and projections. I like the idea of different mediums and fluids coming together to form one cohesive image. In general I just like to keep my hands busy!
  • What makes you stand out from the crowd?
I can usually see through people's facades, good or bad, to see whats really going on underneath. Now that's not to say I go digging for something in everyone I meet, but if I sense someone could just need someone to talk to, having a high EQ means that I can usually sense when something is just off. It's not a science, but it's something I believe in!
  • What should others absolutely know about you?
I don’t tolerate violence in any way. I don’t care how macho you think you are. There are other ways to show a man you are an Alpha other than resorting to punching or slapping him. Don’t get me wrong a little rough housing and wrestling is always fun, but know where to draw the line.
  • How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or you are more of a homebody?
I was fortunate enough to work in a position for a number of years that required me to be 100% on the road where I only made it back to New York City for 1-Week out of 52 one year. Needless to say, I’m well versed when traveling domestically and pretty confident with my international travels. I still like to travel at least once a month now that I am based out of New York City.

Traveling alone is beneficial if I just want to get somewhere and I don’t care about the trip to get there, but if I want to have fun and enjoy the journey then traveling with others is the only way to go!
  • What is your ‘niche’?
If you like the “Boyfriend experience” then I like to think that I’m your guy. I can cook you dinner after a long day at work and unwind with you over that meal and cocktails. Conversation, I can carry if you want to talk about anything or bounce an idea off someone. Sensuality. I’m gentle when you need me to be and rough when I want to be. I can read your body language better than you think and will make you very comfortable!
  • Tell us what you consider to be your greatest life experience.
Funny enough it was for someone else, but nonetheless made me the happiest person. When I was dating someone who travelled for work I flew to meet him in Arizona for Valentine’s Day. There was a huge snowstorm coming for the east coast and I talked it over with him and we cancelled our plans becuase all the flights, including the one I booked, were starting to cancel. Little did he know I had already rebooked my flight and was on the way to the airport 2 days early. After that surprise of just being there, on Valentine’s Day I surprised him with a sunrise hot air balloon ride which had been on both of our bucket lists and I had planned for a couple months. Just seeing the look of awe on his face and knowing that he was doing this becuase I did it for him made it the best experience I’ve ever had.
  • What do you enjoy most about yourself?
My sense of humor which brings out my smile. I’m not everyone’s type of person, but I love to make people authentically laugh.
